DarkAero

We are a team of three brothers - Ryley, River, and Keegan Karl (left to right). We graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Madison with degrees in Mechanical (Keegan), Computer/Electrical (River), and Aerospace (Ryley) Engineering. 

Over the past several years we have been developing the DarkAero 1, the fastest longest-range aircraft you can build in your garage.

The airframe of the DarkAero 1 is built from the lightest and strongest composite materials to give the airplane maximum performance for its mission.

The Aerospace Composites Course and the Aerospace Mold Making Course represent the culmination of the engineering and manufacturing knowledge that went into the design of the DarkAero 1, as well as useful information that could be applied to other new, high performance designs.
